The gold market witnessed a notable increase in prices today, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold rising by Rs 500 compared to the previous day’s rates. This surge propelled the price to Rs.250,700, contrasting with the prior rate of Rs.250,200.
The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association provided insights into the market dynamics, revealing that the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a significant upswing, with an increase of Rs 429. Consequently, it was priced at Rs 214,935, in contrast to the previous Rs 214,506. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose to Rs 197,024 from Rs 196,631.
Interestingly, amidst these fluctuations, the price of silver remained steadfast, with both per tola and ten gram prices holding at Rs 2,780 and Rs 2,383.40 respectively.
On the global front, the trend echoed the local market, albeit with slight deviations. The international gold market experienced a $5 increase, bringing the price to $2,400 from $2,395.
